In 2010 we played the Rites of Darkness Fest in San Antonio, Texas. One of the bands I watched was Black Witchery. The set was relentless. I was inspired. A whole album of all out WARMETAL would be fun, I thought. I had also been inspired to start creating an even darker more malevolent sound. I've been dabbling with a drop A tuning and this was an experiment with that tuning. Another reference to the Goat here, that began on our 2004 PLAGUE BEARER EP Rise of the Goat.
